Cancellation policy for Smile Hub
If your appointment time becomes inconvenient for you, we are always happy to change it if you provide us with 24 hours notice. This allows us to schedule in a patient who may be in urgent need of our care.
Please note that Monday appointments need to be cancelled by 2pm on the Friday before, to avoid a short notice cancellation fee.
We will always endeavour to fill the gap left by a short notice cancellation, to avoid charging our patients.
As of 2nd January 2018, Smile Hub are operating a new Cancellation Policy.
First short notice cancellation.
Standard fee of £50 per 30 minutes of clinical time will applied to your account.
Second short notice cancellation within a 2-year period.
Standard fee of £50 per 30 minutes of lost clinical time applied to your account and a non-refundable deposit required prior to rescheduling, to the value of 50% of the appointment cost. If you attend your appointment, this deposit will go towards the cost of your treatment.
Third short notice cancellation within a 2-year period.
Standard fee of £50 per 30 minutes of lost clinical time applied to your account, and a non-refundable deposit prior to rescheduling, for the full value of the appointment cost. If you attend your appointment, this deposit will be used to pay for your appointment.
Smile Hub reserves the right to implement the above cancellation policy in the event of repeated cancellations with adequate notice if they have resulted in more than one-hour lost clinical time in a one-year period.
Smile Hub confirm all bookings by email and by sending a personal meeting request via Outlook. Patients who fail to attend an accepted appointment will be charges as per our 2018 Cancellation Policy.
Payment of fees
We can take payment over the telephone, or remotely with your consent if you have made a card payment to Smile Hub previously. We will ask you to confirm the last four digits on your card prior to taking payment.
Our goal in communicating our cancellation policy is to avoid any extra charges being passed on to our patients.
We thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
