Our dental clinic is open and you can read our COVID-safe procedures here.
We have unfortunately had to temporarily stop our beauty treatments in line with Government regulations. All existing appointments will be rescheduled.
What should you do if you have mild discomfort?
If you have a problem but you are unsure if you should get expert advice, then check out our Dental Emergency FAQ’s. You may be able to monitor a problem yourself for a few days. If you then find it gets worse, we recommend getting expert advice.
What is remote emergency dental care?
This is a service provided over the phone or using video technology. One big advantage is that you can get advice anywhere in the UK. The emergency dentist does not need to be in the same town as you to be able to help.
At Smile Hub, we are using the same technology as doctors for emergency video consultations so we can at least ‘see’ you and you are able to ‘see’ us.
Online booking allows you to choose a time that suits you and we currently have emergency dental appointments available 7 days per week. From the comfort of your home or office you can discuss your problem and get expert advice on how to best manage your situation.
What are the outcomes of an emergency dental video consultation?
Depending on your problem, we can provide you with peace of mind, practical home care advice, send you a temporary filling kit or organise an e-script for antibiotics if they are required.
By speaking to an experienced expert, we can help you monitor a minor problem until you can be seen. If your situation is more serious, then some advice on pain relief and/or antibiotics to help stabilise an issue and reduce the chance of it escalating.
You will now have a Dentist to follow up with should anything change. Our aim would be to keep you comfortable and as worry free as possible until you can be seen.
Restorative services
If you need treatment, your emergency dentist can discuss your options and the likely costs as part of the consultation. You will have time to think about the type of care you need and reserve a priority appointment to proceed with treatment as soon as its possible.
For routine check-ups and dental hygiene appointments that look after your dental health.
