Amy qualified as a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist from Newcastle University, with merit, in 2011. Having previously worked in as a qualified dental nurse, she has over 20 years’ experience within dentistry.
She now works as a Dental hygienist with a keen interest in the general health and lifestyle links with dental and periodontal health.
She gets great satisfaction from helping her patients improve not only their oral health but also making a difference to their general health.
When she isn’t working, Amy attends regular CPD training courses. She likes to cook, travel, read, see friends and family, and can often be found with a barbell in her hands attempting Olympic weightlifting.
